Week 1

I’m doubling down on content creation this year.

It’s part of my goal to learn Ship 30 for 30’s Lean Writing Method. I decided to post 5-days a week starting tomorrow.

I also got back into writing 4-min articles for Medium. I noticed how I need to get better at thinking clearly because the article I wrote this week took me about 5 days to finish.

Slow start…but I hope I can keep up lol.

I finally gave in to the reality that I do not work with 1 schedule, I work with 4 (mine, my spouse’s, my son’s and my daughter’s). In addition to that, my kids’ schedules can be unpredictable.

That makes it hard to find the “perfect” time to write.

This is what prompted me to another goal I wanna accomplish this year: stop waiting for the “ideal time” to start writing. Whenever I get a chance, write!

I also decided to start journaling in the evening —to remember the most meaningful time of my day.*

I still struggle to appreciate myself. I can’t help but feel “I’m not good enough” despite what others say. Any compliments you throw my way get into one ear and out in the other. Hehe, it’s an ongoing battle I have within myself.

But with “practice” (of appreciating myself in the littlest ways), I might be able to get over it.

*that quick chat I had with my cousin yesterday was pretty cool

A Year Ago This Week

  • I waited in the car for 1.5 hours to get some antigen kits.
  • I had my first 100 followers on Medium.
