What Happened This Week
Almost got into an accident…because I wasn’t focused.
When there’s a lot of things going through your mind or when you’re tired AF, “focus” is a lot harder to achieve.
But I try not to make the same mistake twice. I take mistakes very seriously. Well, not all mistakes but critical ones. This is how I make sure it doesn’t happen again.
This is why I decided to get back to meditation.
I’ve been meaning to get back into the practice but I kept dismissing it due to “lack of time”. Truth is, I haven’t been giving my mental health the care it needs.
Lately, work shrunk my brain – and it still does. If I was to use a game analogy, it feels like the boss fights never end.
It doesn’t matter whether my lack of focus is driven by fatigue or whatnot – it’s never an excuse to justify what happened. At the end of the day, I’m still responsible for my own actions…
But on a lighter note, 3 of my artwork were accepted again by Gallea.

A Year Ago This Week
- I thought I caught COVID-19. I was sick AF.
- I decided to learn how to speed read.
- the thought of layoff plagued me.
