Week 13

Traffic rules in the Philippines does not seem to be as strict as it is in Canada.

That was my impression as a passenger…until you get caught violating them. Turns out, some traffic enforces will enforce the traffic rules on you. And when they do, there isn’t much you can say as an excuse to get out of it. That’s when they ask for your license, which you can retrieve by going to the city hall and taking a seminar afterward. As I was witnessing this, I panicked!

But money talks…and sometimes can make the best excuses to get out of it.

Lunch with family members that you haven’t seen in so many years always seems short.

There’s so much to catch up on. So much to dive into. I enjoyed talking more than the food that is in front of us. And I noticed something about me after…

I’m interested in their story of how they became who they are today – whether that’s having a business or an awesome career.

I’m like a Tim Ferriss wannabe who wants to capture the lessons, write about them and be inspired to keep going after your dreams.

It’s been 3-months since I decided to post every day (except on weekends) on Twitter, IG/FB and Medium.

And because I’m currently on a trip, I find it difficult to keep up with it. I’m torn between continuing, or pausing for a month. I’ve read 2 newsletters that talk about how “consistency” should be done and that taking a break is perfectly ok. The truth is, I don’t rely on my articles to make a living. I publish frequently to capture data (and understand what resonates with my current audience).

What am I to lose if I take a break?

Perhaps I’m gonna continue to write—but I won’t be publishing them until May or June.

A Year Ago This Week

  • tried FB ads…but failed lol.
  • I decided to stop creating “personalized designs”
  • content creation robbed the time I could’ve spent with my family…never again.
