I’m up at 2:30 AM almost consistently.
It’s when my son would typically cry for milk (when Reyvi is at work). The more often she worked, the more I was conditioned to get up around this time. Because even if she’s home, for some reason, I feel awake during that time.
I’m wondering if it’s my new “430 AM” golden hour – when I write and workout and journal and do all sorts of self-improvement stuff—-and writing.

Writing in the morning has been challenging.
These days, it takes me about a week to finish writing a 4-minute article. This must be due to sleep deprivation and my kids’ unstable schedule.
Now, this is not a complaint. It’s more like seeing it as an opportunity to LEARN TO ADAPT to your current circumstance. I love writing…but I love my kids more than writing.
Writing on paper helps me write irregularly t0 match my daily irregular schedule.
The goal is to learn to write in non-ideal conditions.

It looks like I hit my highest monthly earnings on Medium this month!
This might be a fluke, even when I’m writing more than ever. I wonder if sleep deprivation contributes to it? Ah who knows. It’s too early to tell. But the point is:
I’m going in the right direction.
A Year Ago This Week
- thought about taking programming more seriously *lol it’s been a year now since I thought of doing this
- Consistent at pre-publishing 2 articles per week *hmm I can only produce 1 per week this year
- Decided to prioritize my relationships: family/friends.
