Week 41

I need to get better at planning and paying attention to a schedule.

Otherwise, I will miss important information that would cause me to react poorly. I don’t typically follow a fixed schedule to allow myself to change my approach quickly if something changes. This made me become good at planning on the fly.

But the irony is, if I planned this accordingly, I wouldn’t need to do some impromptu planning.

“Has this been said before?”

That question is what I need to research before writing an article. Another one of my articles was rejected because I wrote something that’s been said multiple times. The rejection has less to do with how it is written but what was written.

I wrote about Kratos and fatherhood.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how to increase my income through my side projects.

I wanted to make more money to buy my freedom to do whatever the heck I want. I’m talking about jobs —how we are locked in by our 9-5 job due to debts we accrued over time. I don’t hate my job, but I wish I was making more.

An online business or a freelance gig would be nice.

A Year Ago This Week

  • “Wasting time” is a need to give you a break from being productive. These days, it’s so easy to keep ourselves “busy”.
  • Holy shit–it took me 2 weeks to write an article? I’m glad I don’t do that anymore!
  • I thought about providing a service to write other people’s resumé. Well, to this day, that idea is still just an idea lol.
