Week 5

I changed my mind about the idea of using phones/TV as an alternative babysitter.

I wonder, “How else are you going to get stuff done?”

Is it “bad babysitting” or perhaps…”efficient babysitting”?

Parenting is a subjective topic.

You’ll never know if you did things right anyway until your kids are all grown up.

This is why I share all the good and not-so-good things I did when I was a kid (i.e. sliding on my knees on the floor or throwing wet tissues on the bathroom walls).

Yea yea, it’s messy but it’s fun. I like fun.

One core lesson of storytelling I’m learning right now is digging into your past – back when you were a kid.

A lot of the stuff we do today is driven by that one event that we cannot forget.

I recently realized the reason why I’m not assertive with what I want. I’m gonna censor out the details for now. But the gist of it is, there was that thing I was super excited about, but it ended up not happening due to legit reasons. I wasn’t angry or upset about it because I had no choice but to accept what has happened.

But I was super sad*

*Lol, I’m gonna write about it once I get the details straightened out.

One of my articles was rejected this week and I’m glad it did.

The structure was all over the place. The timing was also off! I was talking about “end of 2022” but I submitted the article this year LOL. The lesson?

Quickly review the article before submission.*

*I finished the article back in mid December 2022

A Year Ago This Week

  • temporarily stop following my routine like a job.
