What's On My Mind
I’m overwhelmed.
My to-do list seems to be growing and I couldn’t keep up.
I wonder if I’m that bad at managing my time and setting my priorities?
Or maybe I just have too much on my plate?
But the answers to both questions don’t really help me reduce my growing to-do list.
I like to think that I have too much on my plate. But at the same time, using that excuse feels like I’m running away from my responsibilities – to justify my inefficiency.
This Friday, a training session I’m supposed to deliver was canceled.
While that freed up some time to allow me to work on other pressing issues, I ended up not using it efficiently. Why? I wasn’t prepared for it.
I try to follow a strict schedule as much as I can – to create boundaries as opposed to letting others interfere with what I’m currently working on.
But doing that makes my process rigid. It doesn’t allow me to address surprises especially when a “hot hot” item needs to be dealt with immediately.
What I need is to learn how to balance between “flexibility (to address unknown constraints)” and “rigidity (setting boundaries)”.

Weekly Update
Personal Projects
I learned how to use Elementor more efficiently. Elementor is a plug-in I use to write this weekly rambling.
I uploaded 20-sec Youtube videos of using Plotagraph on my MSPaint art.
Routine
Not a single day was the same as the other.
This week I experimented with my routine, trying to figure out which is the most effective way to start my day…to deal with my overwhelming to-do list.
The result? Still experimenting.
I will continue to do so until I finish the transition from living in our apartment to living in my parent’s house.
AND as Lexi develops her sleeping routine.
Workout Summary:
- 10 push-ups
- 20 squats
- 20-minutes of meditation
*this needs a lot of improvement.
Finance
Cut down cost due to…
- Canceled Internet subscription.
- Canceled Amazon Prime subscription.
- Rented heated storage space for our stuff (as opposed to renting an apartment unit).
