Coming back to a crapload of work after vacation sucks.
I cannot deny how tight deadlines don’t affect me even when I’m ok if I were to lose my job, or when I tell myself I shouldn’t take work too personally. I still care about the quality of my work (I always do). Times like these make me wanna “fold”. However, I also realize this is the time when my skills are put to test.
A Tim Grover saying I’ve been practicing this week is: “Don’t act on impulse; use your instincts” <<

While some people like working OT due to the extra pay, I hate it.
It robs my time for writing and reading and whatever the heck I enjoy doing. But let’s be mature about it — Work OT exists. Dismissing that is dumb. It’s an avoidance of reality. And so I had to play by the rules of the game of employment if I want to keep playing the game. The best way I can achieve that is by reframing a negative experience into something more positive:
Working OT is good because it helps me bank some time off.
My vacation days for this year are almost used up. And so I will take advantage of this opportunity to gain extra day-offs.

Bought one book and rented two books from the library:
- Storybrand = to learn how to use story in my articles.
- Effortless = to make something super hard to do feel effortless.
- The Archer = I’m a fan of Paulo Coelho and I haven’t read any work of fiction in a while.
A Year Ago This Week
- can’t work out due to my foot wart. Gross I know. It’s gone now though lol.
- workload is insane at work..but that’s the new norm.
