Week 17

We lost the two houses we bid on.

All other houses we looked at were also sold for a price much higher than our budget. I’m not sure what’s driving buyers these days to add 70k-90k on top of the asking price. That to me is just crazy…

That extra 70k could’ve gone to a much better type of investment.

My body finally broke from the torture of sleep deprivation.

I had to get up in the middle of the night to puke. The next day I had a fever. All I wanted to do was lay in bed and do absolutely nothing. I haven’t had that feeling in a while. I hate it.

But whatever happened is a good reminder that I should push myself too hard because the time it takes to recover may take a while.

I typically write my plans/goals on an index card for each month.

However, this time, I decided to scrap that. I haven’t been following up on my plan anyway due to the busyness of life and other things that are much more important. I’m not saying that I’m going to abandon my side projects. I just need to be mindful of how I prioritize things.

Work has been crazy lately, and so, I don’t wanna make things more complex for myself for attempting to achieve an ambitious goal for my side projects.

  • I’ve been MSPainting every week to avoid losing my digital illustration skills.
