Week 19

This whole week was all about readjusting ourselves to our typical daily routine (prior to our 2-month travel).

The main one would be sleep because if you can’t fix that, you’re unlikely to get stuff done (ie. unpacking, reorganizing, cleaning, etc.). It’s been a week but we are still adjusting. The next big thing is reorganizing our stuff. Once that’s done then we will work on our diet.

In other words, there’s a lot of restructuring we need to do.

Now that we are back to “non-travel-mode”, we now have to get back to our frugal habits lol:

  • Laguna was alright. Our expenses were not as bad.
  • Bali was good…we didn’t go over budget.
  • Tokyo was a little pricey BUT it was fun 😀

Next month, I’m finally going back to work…fun lol.

There have been a few changes since I went on parental leave.

  • New manager and direct report at work. We must also show up in the office at least once a week.
  • We need to prep food for Lio now…but he sleeps a little longer.
  • AI is here – I wanted to stay relevant by learning Excel.

That means, our usual routine is going to shift and we have a month to do it.

A Year Ago This Week

  • Snap! I’ve been getting nosebleeds for a year now.
  • TV became my babysitter.
  • Burnt out at work.
