Week 20

What Happened This Week

I broke one of my personal rules this week: only work at work. 

I had to push my morning routines aside to allow me to meet my deadlines at work.

This prompted the following questions:

  • Is this going to be a habit?
  • What can I do to avoid this from happening again?
  • Does this mean that I didn’t manage my time properly?

While that made me feel bad (for breaking a rule), I didn’t let bother me. <<

A lot of times, we are harder on ourselves than on other people.

Other things that happened:

  • Completed the introductory meditation course of Waking Up.
  • Created an online bank account – to save money on fees. 
  • I also realized this week how I cannot work on a project with 100% focus for more than 3-hrs.

A Year Ago This Week

  • Our neighbour reported us due to an old mattress that fell over his property. The mattress sat there for like a day.
  • I experimented with converting my articles to audio using an app. I ended up getting a refund…but somehow, until today, I still have access to it 😛
  • Lexi doesn’t want me to put her to bed. Must be my shaved head…
