Week 22

What Happened This Week

This week, I finally used up all the pages from The Artist’s Way Morning Pages Journal.

I journal to capture all the thoughts that go through my head. And to assess whether or not I’m improving.

The whole week felt exhausting. Must have been a mix of tight deadlines and lack of sleep.

I decided to work on Thursday night to stay on track with my deadlines. I rarely do this and prefer not to do it. But if I don’t do it, the stress will creep in to ruin my sleep. 

Been sleeping later than usual but kept the habit of getting up at 4 AM.

Getting up late means, “giving up my morning routine”, which also leads to poor productivity.

That’s what happened yesterday.

I don’t feel like doing anything all day: no workout + unfinished to-do list.

Must be because I’m exhausted.

So I took a break without making myself feel guilty about it.

A Year Ago This Week

  • I used a time tracking app to get an accurate assessment of how I spend my time.
  • Been watching a lot of videos from The Futur.
  • Reread a book on communication to help me with my insurance presentation.
  • I’m eating and sleep well and consistent with my quick workouts.
