Week 22

I’m slowly trying to get back into my usual morning routine.

I’m talking specifically about exercising in the morning and cold showers. Lately, I had to give those up to carve some time for my 9-5 job. Time saved is about 1-hr, which, includes the occasional checking of social media, browsing for Youtube videos to listen to or checking emails.

Whenever I work OT, it’s usually by working earlier as opposed to working later. Why? My brain doesn’t function well in the afternoon.

This week, I only missed 2 days of working out.

I learned about a new simple one-pager website called “Carrd.co”.

This week, I managed to play around with it. So far, I like how simple it is to use, however, it’s not user-friendly for customization. I like templates because the work is already done for you. All you need to do is add a copy and a little bit of your personality.

Do I see myself using it in the future? Hell yea. I think it’s the cheapest way to own a personal website (cheaper than WordPress). However, its function is very limited.

I finished watching Loki this week.

I was dragged into this Marvel rabbit hole that started with Dr. Strange’s Multiverse of Madness. I was confused with Scarlett Witch’s role in the movie, which, triggered me to watch WandaVision. Then after talking to a friend about it, he suggested I watch Loki to get a better understanding of the multiverse.

Well, so far it makes sense, but holy shit that’s a lot of watching.

I’m also planning to rewatch past movies just so I can refresh myself about how they’re all interconnected. Why the hell do I wanna do this? I don’t know but Marvel’s writers have a way of making you curious about everything they created. Something I aspire to do (in terms of storytelling).

That’s all I have for this week lol.

A Year Ago This Week

  • I talked about Jjournaling to assess my progress in life.
  • I also had to give up my morning routines. *It seems like there’s a pattern here. Maybe it’s something I need to prep myself for next year…hmm.
