Week 23

After 35 weeks of not worrying about deadlines, I’m finally going to be back at it tomorrow.

I’m excited and sad and uncomfortable at the same time. I’ve been away for so long that I don’t remember anything. That makes me feel useless lol.

Tomorrow is going to be interesting as I don’t know what to expect.

It was my first time driving to the US border this week!

This is one of those “accomplishments” that is negligible to most people but it was quite a big accomplishment for me. I had this fear of crossing the border since that time when we were brought to the garage due to some questionable items lol. I also had a fear of driving on my own due to some anxiety issues.

Haha I laugh as this is not that big of a deal.

I’m reminded of the importance of getting good at following instructions before deviating from them!

Writing an article on travelling took me a while because I did not follow the Lean Writing Method. I skipped some details here and there and that caused me to go in circles. It was a humbling experience!

I was arrogant to think I can master the approach with a couple of articles. It’s a reminder that it takes multiple practices to get good at something.

In other words, I need at least 100 articles published (using the method) to get to the “good enough” level.

A Year Ago This Week

  • Lexi scratched the car with the rocks she found in the backyard.
  • I’m reminded of the “basics” to become healthier.
  • Bought a bigger desk for my workstation at home.
