Week 25

We’re halfway through the year and I wonder how much closer am I to the goals I set for myself this year…

But that’s a tricky question because the goals I set up are not something that can be measured numerically. Its focus revolves around strengthening existing relationships. I can say that things have improved, but they can be better. What defines “better”?

I don’t know, I just know that we shouldn’t be limiting ourselves when it comes to people that matter most to us.

I decided to buy a new Keurig machine this week because the old one isn’t cutting it anymore.

The coffee isn’t as hot and it’s not brewing the coffee properly. It had to go. But note that it lasted me for almost 10 years! I can’t complain. Plus, I don’t maintain it either. That just shows how good Keurig coffee makers are.

The new one I bought is obviously fancier (judging by how technology evolves so fast) but it’s about the same price. I hope it will also last me for 10 years…coffee is critical for my productivity/creativity.

It’s good to see some friends this weekend.

The pandemic may be over but everyone’s schedule is still busy — maybe much busier now that there are a lot more things you can do. But even if there are so many things you can do now, one thing remains to be challenging: planning birthdays while feeling exhausted from the daily grind.

Not only that, but I also felt the bad inflation we are facing right now. It’s more than just the gas, it’s everything else! With everything that’s happening in the economy lately, a birthday party needs to be planned “economically”.
