Week 35

Had my first meeting with one of Night Owl Nation’s Unofficial small groups.

Everyone in the group has a product or service to sell, except me. I was there to learn more about how everyone is doing with their business. After that meeting, I realized how most of them are newbies in the business despite the fact that they already have a product or service to sell. Two of them already have an established service business – these are the ones I want to learn from.

I prefer to learn from people whose already done it than the ones who just regurgitate the same message from other experts.

We were charged more than a thousand dollars for our gas bill on July!

It’s summer and yet our gas bill went to a record high — more than 10x the bill we paid for in winter! Of course, it was a glitch in the system or perhaps one of the hydro staff read the meter wrong. But I wasn’t able to find that out until I got hold of customer service, which took me more than 1.5-hrs waiting on hold.

The fix was quick and painless, but staying on the line listening to pre-recorded music for 1.5-hrs is painful.

Lexi typically barfs on car rides that are about 30-minutes or longer.

That’s what scares me the most when no one is sitting in the back with her. I find it hard to focus driving when there’s a complainer in the back. However, this time around, things went smoothly.

That’s what anxiety is — fear of something that is logically valid but it hasn’t happened yet.

  • I was sick and used that as an excuse to be lazy.
  • I experimented with posting logo designs using my initials on IG.
