Week 36

Worked 3-hrs of OT this week.

The number of projects I’m working on is starting to pick up. I’m starting to feel the stress of meeting deadlines again. As of now though, things are under control.

Also, it seems like my plan to become known as “the macro guy” at work is working.

Spent 4-hrs in the Emergency Waiting room this week.

Had to take my dad in due to chest pain. He is good—bloodwork, blood pressure, EKG and all other tests that are heart-related came back okay. But man…4 hours in a waiting room with other patients is difficult:

  • There’s this lady who doodles on her notebook and would occasionally talk and cuss the fuck out.
  • Then there’s the guy who would just laugh out of nowhere.
  • Then there’s another lady who kept complaining to her mom about how dirty the seats were and how the waiting room stinks!

These three were okay because they’re just interesting lol. The worst one was the guy in front of me. He brought spoiled raw meat!

The room we were in stunk like a rotten banana peel.

Emergency Waiting Rooms can accelerate the severity of your illness at a 50% rate…hoh-lee-mackerel!

Going back to the office starting this Tuesday.

I’m not excited. That means I’m losing almost an hour of my time to either write, read or work out. I resist the idea of going back, but I suppose it’s just a matter of trying to get used to it.

I’m gonna update my LinkedIn profile soon to look attractive to headhunters.

I’ll use them as my leverage to get what I want lol.

A Year Ago This Week

  • I’m an INFJ-T.
  • My dentist suspects that I have a habit of clenching.
  • I took Lexi on her first day of playschool.
