Week 38

I always end my small talk in an awkward way.

This is because I couldn’t come up with a good set of questions to keep the conversation going. A big part of that is a lack of curiosity about the other person and my headspace is typically someplace else. So if I’m unprepared to have chitchat, expect it to end awkwardly because the thought that goes in my head is…

 “Ok so how do I end this convo now so I can get going with my day?”

Side Note: this only applies to people I don’t really know.

I’ve been sick for more than a week now!

Whatever flu we got going around at home is worse than when I had Covid! I’ve been meaning to get back to working out in the morning. But I have to stop for about a month due to that blood in my eye. Then that was followed up by the flu. The lack of physical activity makes me feel weaker.

You know what they say, “You’ll lose it if you don’t use it.”

Today is the start of my new sched as a “full-time dad”.
