Week 39

Getting up at 4AM made me feel like I have all the time in the world.

The extra thirty minutes I was able to open up allowed me to read the book I recently purchased. It’s called “Levelling Up” . It is a book that creates a parallel between life and video games.

I bought it to immerse myself in the gaming world – something that most people my age don’t really pay attention to lol.

So I wrote about Assassin’s Creed and its parallels to self-improvement.

This was my way of immersing myself in the category of video games. I thought it would be interesting to create a cross between the two: video games and personal development. It’s something I need to test out.

Welps, that article was rejected lol.

I bought a new online course called “Physics of Progress”.

Recently, I’ve been feeling unchallenged. Probably it’s due to the light workload I experience at work. It’s messed up but I need to learn to stop using tight deadlines and pressure as my motivation to get stuff done.

My hope is that the course will help me deal with that, as well as help me gain progress with my side projects.

Oh I’m also reading $100 Start Up.

Reading the book made me think about selling my personalized art as NFTs. Now, NFT is something I have close-to-zero knowledge of. But after hearing the recent buzz on turning your artwork to NFTs, I can’t deny that it didn’t cross my mind.

The world of crypto is too foreign for me right now, but I’m gonna try to learn and understand it – one Youtube video at a time.

A Year Ago This Week

  • It took me a while to get back into the groove of the busy-ness at work.
  • It takes me forever to edit an article.
    • I’m glad I don’t do this anymore.
  • I decided to stop writing my weekly PROJECT/GOAL updates.
