Week 40

I’m learning more about NFTs.

The thought of turning my artwork into NFTs crossed my mind. Why? They are personalized. And since they are personalized, the artwork can be used as a personal token for content creators or any solopreneur who sells a product or a service…kind of like Gary Vaynerchuk’s. After scratching through the surface, I realized that I don’t want to go through the hassle of minting my artwork.

Instead, people who want to mint the artwork can purchase the art for a super cheap price and they decide how much they want to sell it for.

I joined another publication — even though most writers on Medium are complaining about the value of joining a pub.

I haven’t really looked deep into what’s happening in Medium and its algorithm. Either way, joining a pub increases my exposure to my readers – whoever they are. Right now, I’m exploring the idea of combining video games and personal development.

I wrote about Assassin’s Creed as a metaphor for personal development.

Oh and I also took the article OFF the paywall. Why? Again, to increase the distribution of my article.

Boredom is finally hitting me at work.

It’s been 2 weeks since I worked on complex projects. I needed the break but I still seek the stress and pressure of tight deadlines. Without them, my day feels longer and I feel less valuable to my group.

However, this also means that I need to think a little harder to come up with ways to provide value.

You see, figuring things out is much much harder than taking orders. This is an opportunity to put Naval Ravikant’s advice: You get paid not by time but by your ideas*

*I paraphrased.

A Year Ago This Week

  • I made 0.21 USD from my articles LOL
  • I created a new IG account to promote my articles
  • I decided to use stop using my updates as an accountability tool but to track wtf I’ve been doing with life lol
