Week 43

I enjoyed that short time I spent carving a pumpkin for Lexi.

As well as building legos, draw unicorns on the chalkboard or painting. I can’t wait for us to collab on a project (just for fun of course). It’s a way for me to be creative (in other forms) while spending time with her.

A lot of times, finding time to create is difficult when you have 9-5 job (and trying to be a responsible parent).

I was able to get into a Ghostwriting Program for free!

This made me excited because I’ve been eyeing this ghostwriting program for a while now. I wanna buy the course but it’s too expensive at the moment. I’m banking on the idea of using it as my ticket to get out of my 9-5 (not because I hate it) but because I wanna unlock the possibility of having a career as a writer. But the “ticket” is just a ticket—does not necessarily mean I’m gonna use it.

Just having the option to quit is good enough for me.

I finally cleared out all my unfinished drafts on Medium.

What’s next? Write more haha. There isn’t really anythin else to do other than to try to be more efficient with my limited time by mastering the art of writing. As per conversations with other creators (with businesses), a lot of times, the key to getting business is to keep creating content.

The algorithms job (in any platform) is to help you find your people (words from Chris Do).

A Year Ago This Week

  • I participated in a copywriting contest.
  • I did not follow the instructions for an assignment. Oopsies.
