Week 44

“You have a strong core”, says the osteopath I saw this week.

I saw one out of curiosity. The goal is to figure out how bad my posture is. I sit all day at work. But after his initial assessment, he says my posture doesn’t seem to be that bad. The goal in the first visit was to reset the muscles in my lower back.

“Do you feel how stiff this is?”, he asked.

“No…”, I said, “But probably because it’s been that way for a long time”

A combination of thera-gun, cupping and some other gadgets were used to reset my lower-back mucles.

5 days later, I now feel the pain of sitting for a long period of time.

In other words, he did a good job of resetting my muscles but now I have to figure out how to keep those muscles in place—and avoid stressing them too much.

I’m starting to get more and more serious about ghostwriting.

As of now, I’m overwhelmed with the amount of “How to do this” and “Why you should do this” documents I need to plow through. While the information is super juicy, I don’t have enough mental energy to do them all. Now you’d say, “Take one step at a time”, but what does that even look like?

I learn through implementation—not by reading.

Therefore, the biggest challenge of learning has less to do with information, but more about finding the time to put what you’re learning to action.

I updated my LinkedIn bio just because I wanna look more professional online.

I subscribed to a newsletter that provides AI Prompts for free. So I thought, “Why not put it to test? It doesn’t hurt”. But the real goal is to look attractive to headhunters.

Now, I love my job, but at the same time, I need to work on my personal brand to showcase my credibility as a ghostwriter.

A Year Ago This Week

  • I sampled a copywriting course for $1 to learn the skills.
  • I lost a subscriber.
  • With young children, self-care goes out the window lol.
