Week 45

I had fun taking Lexi out for a swim followed by a spaghetti/chicken at Jollibee.

It’s been a while since we’ve taken her out. As much as I want to reduce her screen time, I find it difficult to do so when you’re juggling between an infant and a toddler. YouTube Kids helps me deal with that.

However, I also noticed how I don’t really need to be too strict with her screen time because she also gets tired of watching.

I did not renew my subscription with AWAI.

It would’ve been a waste of money because I’m unable to go through all the videos and apply all the lessons I’m learning. But I’m glad I’m able to get a preview of their program because I had a critical realization: I don’t wanna do client work. I have a job/career I don’t hate so I don’t really have a good reason why I should do freelance work.

What I really wanna do is create and get paid for it (which is 10000x harder to do).

Weird dash errors showed up after I jumpstarted my car.

It wasn’t even that cold but the battery died again. I thought of getting it towed to the car shop for service because it showed a critical error. But thank goodness for Youtube, I realized that it was just a glitch in the electrical system. The errors went away after driving it around the block.

To reduce the chances of that happening again, I bought a new car battery.

A Year Ago This Week

  • I’m trying to find ways to balance work and my side projects.
  • I wasn’t happy with the article I published but I left it there to help me internalize that it’s ok to fail in public.
