Week 48

I left the cell phone stand in the mall feeling like I shoplifted.

I took home a crapload of accessories that are worth $250! It also made me wonder how much money telecommunication companies are making. How are they able to give $250 credit to whoever signs up a contract with them?

But here’s my business insight takeaway: if I had a business, what can I do to make my customer feel like they’ve stolen from me without filing for bankruptcy?

I took over the social posts of Mrs. R’s bakery to put into practice what I’m learning about copywriting.

You see, it’s all about capturing attention. There are many ways to do that. In this project, I decided to be goofy/lame — a side of me I’m unable to show anywhere else. I gotta admit, I’m having fun writing the captions.

This made me wonder: Should I be goofy in my articles to make them more engaging?

The year is about to end..again.

It’s that time of the year when I pause and reflect on how far I got with the goals I set up for myself. It’s also the month when I need to gain clarity about what I wanna accomplish in 2023. This is one of the reasons why I signed up for an annual membership of Headspace (in addition to the recent Black Friday deal). Clarity is important – because time and time again, I find myself asking why I can’t progress as fast as I want to.

The answer is: I have goals that conflict with each other.
