What Happened This Week
I met all my January goals:
- release an article (on personal finance) once a week.
- do not miss a day without working out (4 sets of squat/push-up combo).
- do not miss a day without writing on the 5-minute journal.
- hangout with my fiancee 2x a month.
My article was chosen to be published on The Capital.
My credit card fees were waived…without having to justify how I’m a loyal customer and all that standard spiel.
I’ve been thinking about what I would do if I was laid off. I’m talking about side hustles that would generate money.
The first thing that came to mind was to get back to digital illustrations and sell t-shirts. I know I know it’s a crowded market. But I like to draw.
I also wanna leverage my writing skills. There’s a lot more that needs to be improved. A big one would be to come up with a catchy headline. I think I’ve gotten better at editing – and trying not to spend too much time on it.
If you can read through my articles on Medium, it would be highly appreciated. I get paid by the time you spend reading my articles. I got paid less than a dollar last month LOL.
A Year Ago This Week
- I was against the idea of building “robot” employees.
- I experimented with the Pomodoro technique to increase my productivity. No that didn’t last lol.
- I was sick as hell. It might have been COVID-19.
