Week 7

We are about 60% done packing for (probably) the longest trip we’ve ever done so far. It’s how we take advantage of my parental leave (which is unlikely going to happen again for at least 3 years or so).  Anyway…

Travelling with kids makes things more complex. Even when we cross everything off our checklist, I’m sure there’s something that we missed. All I know is…

This trip is going to be an adventure 😀

I bought an online course to learn Visual Basics.

That is known as “macro” in the office. Excel is a software all companies I worked for use. However, most of us don’t really understand how powerful it is at replacing our repetitive “admin” tasks (such as copy+pasting). That right there is an opportunity to provide value at work.

I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now but this whole thing about ChatGPT and AI pushed me to get on it now (instead of putting it off for another year).

I met with an Accent Coach this week to learn more about how I can minimize my Filipino accent.

A coach in this online community I’m in was looking for people she can help. I signed up simply because I was curious to see how this whole coaching thing is done. I love to share what I know too so I thought I could learn something from the experience.

And I did.

But I learned more about how to do coaching as opposed to fixing my accent.

That…is a win! *simply because I’m fine with my Filipino accent when I speak in English 🙂

A Year Ago This Week

  • I wrote about how my taste in music evolved (as part of a writing challenge).
  • I was sucked into Russel Brunson’s ClickFunnels.
  • Found a free website that plays lo-fi music (without ads).
