Week 8

I’ve had what I would call a “mild depression”.

It’s a combination of feeling sad, not excited about anything, constantly searching for something meaningful and feeling lazy.

It sounds complex, but that’s exactly what it is.

Does this mean I’m unhappy in life?Not really…because the feeling faded the next day.

What caused it? It might have been the lack of sleep, and feeling “unproductive” throughout the day. “Unproductive” means, lack of action (i.e. sitting and standing around when I’m carrying my son). I’m talking about the lack of body movement.

I would’ve been ok if I had a quick workout or something. Or if I was busy organizing or cleaning the house or pretty much anything that requires me to move around.

I noticed how house-cleaning (including shoveling snow and all that) makes my day better. Lol now now, this doesn’t mean that I’m wanting to become a full-time house-husband. I just noticed how the more stressed/challenged I am (and surviving the challenge), the better I feel about myself.

I’ve been paying a lot of attention to my social media stats lately.

I’m trying to learn to observe the “signals” of the market/platform. I’m posting on IG, FB, Medium and Twitter. Yup, I’m everywhere LOL.

So far, I’m not getting enough traffic to make a good analysis. I feel like I haven’t published enough to get a sense of which niche topic I’m going to pursue.

If you’ve been following what I’m posting so far, which topic is the first thing that comes to mind if you see my name?

I joined two Discord groups this week.

Online communities are the next best thing if you don’t have a network of people with the same interest (in this case, self-improvement and creating online).

My goal in this group is to use it as a research platform to get a better understanding of other people’s struggles.

  • I was considered a “high-performer” at work.
  • I’m learning more about real estate because we were planning to buy a house.
  • I noticed the difference between following my circadian rhythm and getting 7-hours of sleep.
