Week 8

I’m now editing my ebook and I was like, “WTF am I talking about?!”

That’s me saying, “The work requires a lot of polishing”. But here’s the thing, the draft I shared with everyone was there for “validation” purposes. Is it useful or not? Because if the answer was *crickets* then that means, I should move on to the next money-making idea. No need for editing and all that.

However, the response I got was “It’s insightful”.

And so I’m gonna keep going with it. And I’m gonna try to hit 3 birds with 1 stone. How?

I’m gonna repurpose the content of the ebook and post it as an article on Medium. That accomplishes the following:
– validate the idea even further. Do people really care?
– I get paid if people find it helpful
– I’m practicing editing.

Bought a book and decided not to finish it.

It’s about creating your million-dollar business. Now, the title seems scammy and unrealistic. But the truth is, it isn’t scammy at all. It’s very tactical. The main takeaway is: DON’T OVERTHINK IT.

So it forces you to take more action and less sitting and imagining what a good business you should be starting.

That’s exactly why I stopped reading!

I need to take action and not just consume its content mindlessly.

That book is Noah Kagan’s Million Dollar Weekend.

It’s +8C, the sun’s out and it’s February?! WTF.

Is El Nino back or what? Doesn’t matter. At the end of the day, it’s all about how you react to it. The first time I learned about global warming was in 3rd Grade in one of those magazines they sell in school. That time, they were talking about gas emissions and burning plastics.

Well, it’s been about 30 years now, and I guess the continents didn’t sink the way I imagined it back then.

And so, we took the kids to the park. Fun fun.

It’s in those not-so-special moments that make the moment special. It typically happens when you do things at the last minute.

A Year Ago This Week

  • I’ve had what I would call a “mild depression”.
  • I’m trying to learn to observe the “signals” of the market/platform.
  • I joined two Discord groups this week.
