Week 9

What Happened This Week

I was a little disappointed in myself when my manager found the flaws in my work. It’s a stupid kind of mistake – the kind that can be easily glossed over if you’re not paying full attention.

It’s ok now, but I still feel crappy about it. I take mistakes seriously. Perhaps it’s a side effect of perfectionism. But I feel like I needed to do that to make sure I don’t make the same mistake twice. Mistakes happen. It’s what you need to move forward. Because if you’re not making mistakes, it means you’re not trying hard enough.

On the opposite side of the scale, I feel good about meeting my goals for this month:

  • I didn’t miss a day of workout.
  • I published an article every week.
  • Hung-out with Reyvi 2x.

And I’m uhh…MSPainting again…

And I wrote about my unbiassed assessment between permanent and term insurance.

A Year Ago This Week

  • We were finally done with our apartment lease.
  • I don’t know what to say to people who lost someone. But that’s ok, I didn’t want to hear anything from other people when I lost someone.
